Greenville Ends Early for Chad Boat
September 24th, 2011
Easley SC (9-12-11) The NASCAR K&N Pro Series return to the ½ mile Greenville Speedway after rain force the postponement of the race one week. After practicing in the top 5 on the speed chart, Chad Boat and the Curb Record’s team day ending early after a spinning car on a lap 12 restart left Chad nowhere to go, leaving heavy front end damage on the 98 Chevy.
“I felt good about coming here to Greenville after the testing we did. We practiced well but still didn’t qualify as well as we should have. I think I had moved up about six positions and the car felt great, but I just had nowhere to go when the 12 spun in front of me. It is disappointing, but we will get it fixed and get ready for the mile at New Hampshire.”
